Places To Visit: Alresford, Hampshire

Located 15 minutes outside Winchester, Alresford is a small town offering up shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs for everyone. One of our favoirite samll towns to visit outside Winchester, with an abunance of places to eat and drink as well as walks close by, its a great day out. We normally start with a coffee in one of Alresford’s many coffee shops. From here, you can head down the high street and take a look in many of the shops. On your way to Alresford, Long Barn Farm Cafe, is certainly worth a visit. Long Barn’s ethos is all things English Countryside, they make their lavender products from English-grown crops and they focus on sourcing quality good for the considered home. A must visit if you are heading to Alresford for the day.

Once you have had a look around Long Barn, you may want to head for lunch. There is a good selection of restaurants and cafes along Alresford high street, you will have plenty to choose from. Take a look at the bottom of our blog for our local recommendations of places to eat in Alresford.
