Pub Walk: Tichborne Arms
One of our favourite walks in all of Hampshire is the Tichborne Walk. We start our pub walk by parking close to the Tichborne Arms pub, from here, you can follow the map below taking you through the small village of Tichborne, through a farm, over fields of crops, through fields with horses and and highland cows and takes you back towards the Tichborne Arms to finish the walk. The walk can be moderately challenging as it is a bit long. However, there are plenty of options to make the walk as short or as long as you like, depending on what you fancy. We tend to walk around 5km on our walk and finish back at the Tichborne Arms car park where we head into the pub.
The Tichborne Arms tends to be very busy on a Sunday, so make sure to give yourself enough time and make a booking if you would like to enjoy their Sunday Lunch. The Tichborne Arms also offers events and things to do during the month, so keep an eye on their social media or website for their latest offeres. Some of the offers in the past are:
Thursday Mornings - “Little Bears”, childrens roleplay village, offering parents a few hours on a Thursday morning to relax with a coffee while the children play.
Fridays - Forage and Nibble workshop, a 3 hour foraging session around the village of Tichborne, finishing with a snack in the garden.
Saturdays - Pilates and Walk Morning, a walk around Tichborne with pilates included.
Tichborne Arms have plenty of things to do in Hampshire for everyone, keep an eye on their website for the latest offerings!
