Pub Walk: Alresford, Hampshire
One of our favourite walks is located in Alresford, Hampshire. Alresford is the perfect place to wonder around on any morning, evening or a weekend.
The walk takes you from the high street, down to the River Itchen, across a vineyard field (should you so choose), and back to the heart of Alresford.
The walk is muddy at times by the river, but you should be fine with normal footwear, depending on the weather. If you make a start on Alresford High Street and grab yourself a coffee, if you’re off for a morning walk.
Head down towards the river and follow our map below to take you around. If you are with family, it is worth stopping along the river and feeding the ducks and swans.
Remember to donate to the charity who provide the duck feed, if you can.
Our ideal end to the walk is to head down to The Globe Pub after you have completed the circuit.
If it is a nice day, make sure to head out to the back garden which looks over the Old Alresford Pond. If you are heading on an autumn or winter walk, try and get yourself the seats right by the fire.
